  • You choose the job price — fixed amount, or open the job for offers and counters.
  • Payment secured — charged before work starts. Shown in the product only after the charge succeeds. Funds stay on the platform until you approve completion.
  • Disputes & refunds — if work is wrong, open a dispute with evidence. Refunds create real refund records (and Stripe refunds when keys are configured).

For providers

  • Two ways to pay TaskPine — commission on each job, or $150/month membership for 15 jobs/month at $0 commission.
  • See fees before you offer — earning surfaces show job price, any commission, and you earn.
  • Payout after approval — when the host approves completion, payout becomes eligible via Stripe Connect.
  • No fake “Payment secured” — if Stripe is not configured, funding stays unavailable instead of simulating money.

Cancellation fees are configurable and default to $0 unless a market sets otherwise. Memberships are billed monthly (hosts: 30 posts · providers: 15 jobs per cycle); cancel anytime before the next cycle.
